Laser Power Settings Calculator

A CO2 laser power meter probe is very good at measuring actual laser output power. I use the laser calculator located on the Synrad website. For Chinese glass tube lasers, I usually add 20% to the laser power for an equivalent. For example, a 120 watt Chinese laser is more like a 100 watt RF laser.

Search CO2 laser power meter probe on youtube for videos on operation. There are low cost models out there (I sell one on eBay).

It's kind of disappointing that your website says the 5th gen 40w laser can cut through 1/4" plywood. I probably should have done more research before investing $4k into this product.
