Project Inspiration

It’s that beautiful time of year again when the leaves begin to change color and everything pumpkin hits the shelves. This change of season also brings cooler weather, which means more time inside with your X-Carve.

Now the question is...what to make? Check out these three projects we love from our project page and get inspired!

Corian and Bamboo Test Tube Vase

Inventables customer Caleb Peters decided to put his own spin on the concept of a test tube vase. He used bamboo plywood and white Corian to create this stunning vase with an interlocking base.

Steak Paddle with Inlay

Do you love steak? Have you ever thought of using your X-Carve to make your steak eating experience even better? Joe Whittaker from the U.K. sure did! Joe used Easel and X-Carve to carve this gorgeous steak paddle and handle out of walnut. To create the steak inlay, Joe used Milliput. The Inventables team knows what they’re having for dinner!

Poker Card Box

This is the royal flush of card boxes! Frank Graffagnino created the design for this beautiful African mahogany box in Easel. Then, he achieved some detailed 2-sided milling using his X-Carve, allowing him to personalize the card holder. Maybe Frank will invite the Inventables team over for a game night?
